Finally finished my Resin Prentice, Aluminium with flat, Bright spark decals and spare serials. the miscellaneous stenciling silvered even on glossy paint!! the buckled and did the canopy framing with painted masking tape, lets see how long it lasts!!The orange tinted canopy parts were painted in local craft glass- hobby paints. All brush!!. the cockpit came with lots of details, all of course gone now!!
So, I've had this kit from the 90s, a kind Englishman was involved I think!!. Lots of flash, so here are some initial shots.
Built as part of the Non-injected Moulded Group Build but I thought it would reach a wider audience posted here as well. Just one photo here as the rest are in the Group Build Gallery The work in progress can be found here but please have a look at the other builds as well as there is a lot of good work going on and plenty of new skills being learnt/shared. Steve
As I usually have three or four (or more!) builds on the go at the same time I'd like to do this one as well as the Sperrin. Gerald Elliott (Sanger) kit in 1/72 with my own decals for a Boscombe Down based aircraft. The canopy is yellowed (not quite as yellow as the paper!) and has a lump in it so I may have to mould a new one, apart from that it looks like a fairly straightforward vacform build. Steve
