Hello guys, my name is Tomas, I am 24 years old modeller from Czech republic and I would like to share with you one of my newest builds. Also I would like to apologize for my not perfect English, but I will do my best. About Leader: Leader is 21,43 m long and 4,58 m wide wooden boat which was build in 1957 as a pilot vessel by John Isaac Thornycroft & Company at Chiswick. It was originally fitted with 2 Rolls Royce engines, b

Hello everyone I'm new here, and I'm already impressed by the worldwide modelling contingent (that I hope include men AND women). Was wondering if any of you can point me in the right direction with respect to finding out the actual uniform colours for modern military Russian pilot uniform? I've carried out a lot of searches online, but to no avail! My immediate plans are to build a collection of Sukhoi aircraft, commencing with (possibly, haven't fully decided) the 1/72 Su-24 from Zvezda. Tiny figures (bought some from Pavla), I know, but what

Mirage F.1B Figure Set 1:72 Special Hobby Special Hobby have released these figures under the CMK label to accompany their new Mirage F.1B kit. The set consist of two standing pilots (one with and one without his flight helmet) and a standing ground crew figure. The pilot figure seem to be just standing there watching the ground crew member frantically fixing something that they probably broke . The figures are very well sculpted with separate arms for the ground crew man. These figures are excellent and just what is needed to bring your Mirage mo

This kit I bought to practice painting faces on several years ago and it sat in my cabinet, headless for about 2 years. I finally decided I should take a crack at finishing it off so here's the result. I'm happy I managed to line the eyes up and it looks ok from 3ft away. My first attempts at a face looked like Marge Simpson after Homer had done her make up with the make up shot gun (for women with only 4/5ths of a second to get ready). It was brush painted with Vallejo and the base is an old trophy with some dirt from the back yard and grass tufts from MiniNatur.

There is one standing pilot with his helmet and parachute on, one lounging on the airframe with his helmet off and no parachute. The ground crew member is franticly fixing something that pilots probably broke . The figures are very well sculpted with separate heads for the guys not wearing helmets. These figures are excellent and just what is needed to

Hi all, Well shes finished at last. its been a real blast doing the WIP for this build and the figure was a dream to paint and build with only the slight hicup of the dodgy masking tape. For my first Airbrushed figure im very happy with the results. hope you all like her. cheers till next time.

Pilot Figures Ultracast 1:32 There are times when you’ve finished a model aircraft that then screams to be placed in a vignette or diorama. For that you may need a figure to give a bit of life. Ultracast have just released these two, one is rather restricted to a limited number of aircraft whereas the other is a bit more of a generic figure that could be used in all sorts of scenarios. Each of the cream resin figures is contained in a zip lock poly bag with a card header stapled to it. [54015] Actually designed for the Tamiya 1:32 Corsair kits, this figure of Gregory “Pappy” Boyingto
