Here's another Rhino for the GB. This will be my first Phantom, and probably not my last, but my US shelf is woefully missing this one. It'll be a US Navy aircraft flown by Lt. Randy Cunningham off of the USS Constellation in '72. It's an Italleri kit so I am not sure how good it is, but I hope for a reasonable facsimile of the thing itself. I won't go into Cunningham's post-war activities too deeply. Let's just say he was a good pilot and leave it at that. I am going to try my hand at some intense pre-shading on this one to achieve the truly grungy look of these jets as they were. More to come...see you all on the 15th! --John

Goodmorning For this nice GB I chose this Phantom F-4J USN F-4J 'VF-84 'Jolly Rogers' USS Franklin D.Roosvelt 1970 in Mediterranean sea. The Academy kit is very good, I get better with some photo-etched, but not all I think. I'll start in two weeks, I have two kit on workbench to finish ! byeeeee Ettore

This is my entry for the group build, it's Whirlybirds 1/144 kit. I may be a little late starting as I still have to complete a couple of WW2 ground attack attack targets first, but I shouldn't be too late to the party. So here is a shot of the box and the contents and a close up of the decal sheet.
