With the enforced social distancing, I've had some time to work on my newest project, the 26th Division of the Grande Armee. These chaps are the 1st Battalion of the 8th Westphalians. Basically they are half a box of the latest Perry plastics. Thanks for looking not sure why the photos aren't posting I'll try again later

Hi Guys, After coming away from Partizan with a few boxes of British Napoleonic infantry and cavalry, I thought I'd have a go at painting some infantry. Now, I'm quite used to painting 6mm, 15mm for wargaming and 1/72 for my aircraft/ boats but I can't remember doing anything with 28mm, so this will push my boundaries some what. These figures are not going to reach a wargaming table but are for display only. I was going to display the whole box set but I'm leaning towards showing them in groups so as to cover as many different aspects as possible, so I have de

Just a few figures I dashed off before I dash off to Telford tomorrow to start the set up. I somehow ended up with a small ACW Confederate force as part of a failed club project( I was the only one to build anything and I wanted to do Union!). So after 6 years they are d#fnally going to get onto the table. To celebrate I added a regiment of Perrys infantry and have a gun and crew to finish. So I ended up with an army I don't really want and bought more figures for it? I must be mad. Thanks as always for looking.

Whilst building a bucket load of Napoleonic Frenchmen I realised I needed to finish off my Austrians so I've been quietly added the off unit of command group. This I my latest: Thanks for looking.

I've been working away a lot and if possible I take my paints and figures with me. I realised that I had finished a fair few figures recently so as it was such a lovely day I sat out in the garden and got them all based. These are the two remaining Squadrons of the Guard Lancers, these are the famous Polish Lancers . I posted the Dutch Squadron a while ago. These stout chaps are part of the 8th Chasseurs a Cheval and are the newly release plastic figures that Perry are moving over too. Thanks for looking

I've been catching up on my basing, I job I hate. So I can get these braves chaps into their carry box and hopefully onto the table soon. I was intending to take part in a giant wargame next year to try to get a Guinness World Record But that sadly looks like a non-starter, but it did at least get me painting in bulk again. Next up some more Guard Lanciers and then some English Civil War figures for Pikemans Lament. Allons mes braves

After the return of Napoleon the 2nd Guard or Red Lancers were reformed, though only one squadron was raised and they were brigaded with the 1st Guard or Polish Lancers. Here is my interpretation: I'm now working on the Poles now.

Seeing the 6th Lancers presented in work in progress by Fred G, I thought I'd show my 5th Regiment, the other half of the`2nd Brigade of the 2nd Cavalry division at Waterloo. These are 28mm Perry miniatures and I'm afraid the harsh light of the flash does them few favours. The horses do not conform to the excellent plans presented here earlier but I decided during the 100 Days that any 'orse would do. As always thanks for looking
