Recently I had to my stash from storage to home. And as such crazy ideas are apt to happen, I decided to do a proper inventory of the stash (Way too many models, go figure) I discovered 3 little gems that I had stopped building when they went into storage and completely forgot about. So first up is Dragon's 1/48 MIstel-2/S2 FW-190F-8 w/ Ju-88G-1 (sort of).

Now by sort of I'm meaning that the Ju-88 portion was superior to a Hobbycraft Ju-88 that I had built, so I did a swap. I used the Hobbycraft model for the war weary(which it definitely was) and built the Dragon JU-88 into a rather nice build up that I'll post up on the RFI sometime. But any ways long story short I was in the final build stages before bagging and tagging. I think I have all the parts to finish, but if not I'll scratchbuild and/or print what is needed. Granted I have at least 4 builds in various states of disrepair ahem...progress. This would have to be one of the oldest in the shelf of Doom category going back 8 years(has it really been THAT long? jeez) So if you feel brave enough to follow along whilst I clear out the cobwebs from my feeble brain, not to mention the model, and watch me drive myself to distraction working out how to see this through, All comments , suggestions, and bad puns are always welcome. Who knows this old broad may make it to the finish line yet.
