Hi Folk's,here's the story.Last year I bought Revells rather nice 1/72 kit on E-bay,it came minus the glazing so the seller refunded the money and told me bin the kit. I kept it and after an unsuccesful search for a replacement canopy gave up.Today I popped into my LMS for a pot of paint and noticed PM's kit for £6.99 so it struck me could I graft the better parts of the revell kit to the very basic PM fuselage? Well let's see.The PM kit is on the left which consists of upper and lower fuselage the rather nice glazing and that one sprue of poorly molded wheels etc.

This is my entry to the recent Blitzbuild Group Build. The kit is nice a simple, ideal when you only have 24 hours to complete the entire build ! The work in progress is below As the decals that come with the kit and the proposed colour scheme wasn't very inspiring I decided to try something a bit different. So having found some ancient FROG decals and with no respect for actual history at all, the Ho-229 was pressed into service with the Italian airforce, I hope you like it cheers Pat

Last minute change of plan... Unfortunately the Unicraft kit I was going to build has Decals missing to add to the other "built in" challenges ! Therefore given the need for speed and wanting to keep the Luft 46 theme going I have gone for this; If anyone can give me a clue as to what the mottled camouflage is supposed to look like and appropriate Humbrol colours I would be eternally grateful ! Given 4 kids in the house and a list of jobs to do this weekend from SWMBO, it will be a dipping in and out when I get a moments peace technique for the Blitzbuild. Good luck everyone ! cheers Pat

Quick build for £2.99 no after market or anything just started dry fitting and before you know it out pops a sea fury. Decals are the ones in the PM kit Not worried about the accuracy of the kit just enjoyed building it and seeing the result. Rodders
