  1. This is my PCM metal Wing Hurricane of 56 Squadron flying from North Weald in August 1940. This particular aircraft was used almost exclusively by F/O Richard Brooker. The model was enhanced by adding the Fawcett-produced nose, "dog kennel" and lower wing centre section, whilst the spinner and props are by AIMS. Max
  2. I started this kit several years ago and unfortunately it found it's way to the shelf of doom. However, I dusted it of for just such a group build over on LSP as this is an aircraft far too nice looking to let sit half built...and it was an expensive model!! The kit has excellent detail straight out of the box, fit is ok, probably one of PCM's better, but it still requires a little elbow grease to get everything fitted nicely. The decal sheet is really nice, although I didn't use any of them, rather I used my compass cutter and some red stars from the spares box for the Syrian insignia. Overall I'm happy this is now done and sitting in the cabinet.
  3. Hi guys, I will be building the Pacific Coast Modeller 1/32 Macchi MC.200. It will be build straight out of the box. Well SOB means resin engine, cockpit and some PE parts as well. The only extra will be the decals. Pictures will follow later. Cheers,
  4. Afternoon all. My 2nd attempt at this kit. Its PCM's 1/32 Spitfire XIVc completed OOB except for machined cannon barrels and aftermarket cockpit door. Finished with Tamiya spraycans and light weathering. Great kit too build with fantastic resin cockpit and beautiful Cartograph decals. All comments welcome.
  5. I have recently purchased the PCM 1/32nd Spitfire XIV from Relish Models (excellent service BTW) and wondered if there are any major differences between a Mk XIV cockpit and Mk IX as I was thinking of adding some Barracuda Studios' IX resin upgrades. I know the seat would be ok but what about the cockpit walls and associated fittings? Mick
  6. Ken Lawrence from Pacific Coast Models has sent us a picture of the production sprue, showing the corrected tailplanes on their new 32nd scale Tempest kit. Yum Yum.
