  1. With the mail dragging its feet I felt like something quick to build while waiting, and luckily I had this in the stash. I doubt I would have ever even thought about buying two if it was only one to the pack, but since it wasn't I didn't exactly get much choice. But now that I have them I may as well build both, one in everyday puttering about mode and the other one stripped down and buttoned up for stealth. As for the specific ships K31 HMS Visby has a bit more potentially going on, so that'll be the "bells and whistles one", and for the sneaky one I

Sources: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234951970-orange-hobby-new-172-f-35c-testshots/ http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?showtopic=270957 Orange Hobby (http://www.orangehobby.com/) from China is to release its first 1/72nd injected kit: a Lockheed-Martin F-35C Lightning II. The initial release of this kit will include not only an aircraft but also a flight deck tractor. Note the PE set. To be followed. V.P.
  3. Hi folks, I was waiting for paint to dry on something else and decided to clean up the parts from this little resin + etch tug. (click for bigger) Just a dry fit so far. It's pretty nice, but needs some attention in places. The casting blocks are biggish (especially the one at the back) and need to be removed with damaging the (rubber bumper?) detail - I used a razor saw followed by files and sandpaper. There were also quite a few tooling marks on the curves of the hull - I'm pretty sure this is cast from a 3D-printed master and this wasn't cleaned up 100% leaving some visible stepp
  4. Noted today on Hobby easy site Orange Hobby have got a number of new kits coming out. HMS Cornwall Type 22 batch 3 frigate and Pegasus class Hydrofoil plus a Tug and a number OF helicopter and armour sets.
  5. HMS Campbeltown F86 Type 22 Frigate Batch III Orange Hobby 1:700 The Type 22 or Broadsword class of Frigate were designed in the 1960s during the Navies reappraisal of the surface fleet following the cancellation of the carrier programme. The class were all originally to have names beginning with B after the Type 21s had names beginning with A. They were designed to be a specialised anti-submarine platform as part of the Royal navys contribution to NATO. Their main war time job would have been to patrol the G-I-UK gap and shadow REFORGER convoys from the US. The main anti-submarine weapons
  6. Hi, I bought my HMS Ocean (Orange Hobby) 4 months ago from WEM, but I did not yet start it since I'm resuming now to build 1/700 model warships after 5/6 years period dedicated to 1/87 (H0 gauge) scale model trains, as you can notice in my signature. (BTW, why do not visit my page on Facebook and click the "like" button? ) For this reason I'm resuming with easier projects that will make me gaining confidence in order to be more confortable to work on more complex models like HMS Ocean. Starting with some reviews of this model: http://www.modelwars...ohb-review.html http://scaleplastica
