  1. This is OKB Grigorov's British Nuffield Assault Tank A.T.3 in 72 scale. This is a tank which has never been built, even a prototype, it existed only on drawing papers, hence it is called paper tank. I liked the build, you can check it here:
  2. Dear fellow Britmodellers, here's my 1/72 M24 Chaffee from Bulgarian company OKB Grigorov. This was my first build from that manufacturer, and I was pleasantly surprised. The kit has great detail, including metal parts, but it's not easy to assemble. I painted the model with Gunze/Mr.Hobby acrylics. All photographs by Wolfgang Rabel. Thanks for your interest, best greetings from Vienna!
  3. The clever lads at OKB Grigorov have just released a brand new injection moulded M24 Chaffee light tank kit in 1/72nd scale - and it's a real gem! All the hatches are separate pieces. The tracks are length-and-link. The mouldings are very cleanly executed and the finesse of the detail is wonderful. This kit blows away the Hasegawa rendering in all measures. Plus, it's very attractively priced. Even just the "basic" version is only 17EU. US Light Tank M24 Chaffee http://shop.okbgrigorov.com/product/639/us-light-tank-m24-chaffee.html The "Mammoth Edition" is also a bargain when you consider all the photo-etch, resin details, and turned metal gun barrel that comes with it. http://shop.okbgrigorov.com/product/641/us-light-tank-m24-chaffee-mammoth-edition-1-0.html

  5. In an attempt to break my recent rather poor run in GBs, I'm going for something simple: Revell repop of the ESCI 1/72 M48, upgraded with OKB Grigorov running gear and possibly some etch. My references & aftermarket resources for post-WWII AFVs are virtually non-existant, so any help with details and advice on potential sources for suitable decals would be very welcome.
  6. This model has been repainted at least 3 times now, i'm finally happy with the waterline markings which are painted on (a first for me). Also used halfords rattle cans after reading what other modellers use, i like the primer its a great finish. Alex
  7. Happy New Year All, Heres 2 versions of the Virginia Class in 1/700, Firstly the Block I-II with the VLS in the nose as used in the Lose Angeles Flight III, sorry about close up pics did try to show the hatch and sonar detail which is there crisp and clear in the moulding. This one has been partially assembled leaving just the impeller to be fitted. Secondly the Block III example, the main differences being the two circular hatches in the nose for the VLS (from the ohio ssgn) and the updated sonar array also this model includes front diving planes whereas the earlier model doesnt.
