I finished up this great 1/10 scale bust from Nuts Planet and it was a lot of fun. I tried to experiment with armor modeling techniques in the finish instead of taking a more "painterly" approach, which was fun. Comments and criticism welcomed as always!

Here's couple of shots of Tywin Lannister (Lord of Lion by Nuts Planet) - my final GoT figure. Just finished him tonight and he'll go on display with Tyrion and Daeneris at the weekend. Tough choice for my next one, as I have four wonderful contenders - Mirai (from the AD.2074/Ghost in the Shell range) ; The Sea Wolf (Jurgen Prochnow in Das Boot) both by Life Miniatures : Lilith Bust by Nocturna Models or Abyssal Warlord by Scale75. But I may take a break from figures for a while and complete some other projects that I already have in progress (1/35th Takom WWI Mk. I Male Tank; 1/48th Hasegawa Typhoon Mk.I; 1/12th Tamiya JPS Lotus Mk.III) - all of which are for customers or friends. Thanks for looking Kev

Hi folks Been a while since I posted anything. Not been doing much but have worked on a couple of figures. This is the latest completion, and I shall add others as they get to the finishing line. Those of you who've been watching Game of Thrones should recognise this little guy... In the flesh, in front of the television cameras: ... and here's the basic resin parts: and partway through the (very straightforward) build: and the final result: and some close ups: Hope you like him. Hi, Had a few weeks off from modelling, needed a bit of down time after the last project had idea of doing a Model T ford or other rusted vehicle, but remembered that I had already started a VW Samba Bus. So what to do with it. Well it will be rusted and a bit run down. Whilst at IPMS Avon Model Show I picked up a couple of figures from Nuts Planet, Overwatcher and Vagabond. This project will feature Vagabond who has come across a broken down Samba Bus, but where is everyone... I already had a base which was going to be used for something else that never materialised, so halfway there with this project. Going to have bus stuffed with stowage and stuff scattered on the floor around the bus, as if whoever owned the bus has fled or worse turned... Figure is well cast, no seam lines to clear up, cast in grey resin, comes with a rucksack,jerry can, sawn off shotgun plus some pouches to go on his belt. This will be my second Samba Bus, the other was a Post Apocalyptic Battle Bus. More tomorrow. Cheers Richard
