My first post so be gentle 🙂 This model was a pleasure to build, and as ever learning as I go .. so yes loads of mistakes... but in the end quite pleased with the results. I need to get better at taking the photos as all the rest look awful.. will work on that and post some new ones once I figure it out.

Another fun build, and one of my favorites. As always I made plenty of mistakes, but learning more each time. Most of the Tamiya kits are excellent quality, which makes them fun to build. The finished article 🙂 I'm really pleased I used the carbon fiber decals, and then a coat of clear Tamiya gloss over the top, as it really makes them pop. I used some Top Studio rivets 0.9 mm round head and a pin drill to give an authentic look.... very fiddly but worth it. With so much decal-ing the clear coat was essential... I get most nervous doing this final part as I've messed up a few models when clear coating. Looking forward to comments and tips. Thanks for looking.

Hi all, I'm getting back into modeling after many years away. I'm mainly going to be doing motorcycles, British bikes specifically. Looking at the chrome parts, I'm sure there must be a way of getting wheels, chains etc.. looking better. I've seen removing the chrome with thick bleach but nothing more. Is there an idiots guide to doing this somewhere or a pic by pic instruction maybe? Including how to age the bike and a general tutorial on washes & stuff like making it "real" I've seen a bike on here that was stunning and looked so real. The chain was phenomenal. Thanks in advance. Simon.

Hi There! I would like to post up this build, done by my Wife Lisa, this is Her third Tamiya 'Big Bike', and the first one on which She has done all the work Herself (incuding Airbrushing), with just a little sideline 'chirping in' from Me, Paint used were Tamiya acrylics and de-canted Halfords cans for the coulour and lacquer:- ...and Her two other buils, a Honda Monkey Bike and a Harley Lowboy:- ......She's now got Her eye on My Pocher Alfa Spider......... Thanks for looking in! Cheers, Pete and Lisa P.S. Pete was very patient and sometimes a little frustrated but a brilliant tutor!! Lisa x

The MFH website uploaded an interesting picture this morning. It appears to be some kind of motorcycle. Maybe some sort of British bike? Knowing MFH, I'm sure they'll do a stunning job on it.....

Just spotted an addition to ADH's 'How to Build' series. Possibly of interest to some: http://adhpublishing.com/shop/store/products/how-to-build-tamiyas-112-motorcycles/ Apologies if this has been mentioned before. Cheers, Andrew
