  1. I really do need to avoid the GB Chat area!!! Aa a result of wandering through the GB forums (..I won’t say why… ) , we’ve had STGB’s for pretty well all the popular/known modern jets (even multiple times) and one was noticeably missing, the MiG-23/27. Whilst the Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23/27 was probably not their most popular or well-loved product, they did produce over 6000 in all their variants and used by just about everyone (37 counties in total), and surprisingly is still in use (9 counties in total). Main wheels: 660×160 mm Nose wheel: 480×210 mm ....and American wheels. Main wheels: 26×6 inch Nose wheel: 19 inch. The question is, on which American aircraft were these types of wheels used ( maybe P-39 or P-63?) ? B.R. Serge

The MiG-31 is equally as impressive these days, especially with some of the "special" weapons she can carry. I have a 2 1/48th Foxhounds in the stash (one resin Collect-Aire & 1 plastic AMK) but could easily see an

  6. Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21SPS / Fishbed-F. Pics mine at Midland Aviation Museum. To avoid confusion with the local "MiG-21PFM" designation given to the modified MiG-21PF, the East German air force re-designated the "real" MiG-21PFM of izdeliye 94A as "MiG-21SPS."(From wikipedia) Mikoyan
