  1. Mars Models is to release a 1/72nd Dornier Do.23F/G (2 in 1) kit - ref. 72003 Source: http://www.greenmats.club/topic/2372-172-do-23fg/ CADs V.P. Thanks Tali 😉
  2. Mars Models is to release in 2019 (?) a 1/48th Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-9 "Fargo" kit - ref.48102 Source: http://scalemodels.ru/modules/forum/viewtopic_t_61734.html 3D renders V.P.
  3. Mars Models is preparing - at different scales like the La-15 ? - a Yakovlev Yak-25 "Flashlight" kit. At last a new injected kit from this bird to replace the 1/48th Collect-Aire resin kit (link) Source: https://www.facebook.com/568843716590060/photos/a.581699528637812.1073741831.568843716590060/873223106152118/?type=3&theater V.P.
  4. My dad´s newest upcoming project, an "exotic" kit from Mars Models. In western European online shops you can´t really find this kit, bought it in the Ukraine. Sprues look good, clear parts too. Here´s a preview from IPMS Germany http://www.ipmsdeutschland.de/FirstLook/Mars_Models/48003_Beriew_Be-4/Berijew_Be-4.html DSC_0001 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr
  5. #4/2021 My dad´s latest achievement. Something a bit exotoc and rare, the wonderful Mars Models Beriev 4. Quality and fit are very good. Only the instructions are sometimes confusing and misleading. You can build an early or late version and it´s sometimes not so clear which parts you need for which version. So it happens that my dad used the upper bow part with two access hatches instead of the part with one hatch which we needed for this early version. If someone´s gonna build that kit, the late version has a fuselage nose gun, underwing coolers on both sides, underwing stores for bombs, a different rudder and rear MG. EZ Line for the antenna wires, painted with AK Real Color AMT-7 for the underside and AMT-12 for the upperside. Instructions call for A-32m grey which is darker than the AMT-12 but the AK paint fit perfectly for that. Some info about the aircraft https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beriev_Be-4 build thread here https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235083005-aquatic-eyes-in-the-sky148-beriev-be-4-kor-2-soviet-navy/ Model shows an aircraft that was stationed on the cruiser "Kaganovich", Pacific Fleet 1945-47. 8. - A rather confidential machine which however was used operationaly by 118 TH independent Reconnaissance Aviation Regiment, nothern fleet 1943. - A true short run model well in the seventies tradition with rather well furnished photo etched parts most of them unusable owing to an awfull instruction sheet. and thick glazing as usual.. but very funny to built

  12. Could not get past this GB! Therefore, the last serial Lavochkin - La-15 is planned by me for assembly. I plan to build the La-15 from Marx Models, which for some reason is mistakenly named Mars Models on the box.😁 Why do I think that the name Marx Models is more suitable for this company? Because of their revolutionary approach to sales and buyers in the domestic market. See, there are no masks and instructions here: ??? So it was sold in model stores ... want to buy, want not. Moreover, this is a system problem in the models of this company; it was for this reason that the instruction was posted on the Internet. It's no problem for my, but it is somehow wrong. This week I plan to use to describe the history of this aircraft and the story of how Rolls-Royce "helped" Mikoyan and "killed" Lavochkin. And also retrospective compare all the La-15 models in 1/72 I have: - VES/Cooperativa - UNDA - Mars Models - and the remains vacuform Aviastend(Acoustic😞 Yes, I have technical documentation on La-15 (many technical documentation it's evil on GB....ask my model MiG-21F, from Modelsvit, he will confirm!!!!!😁) , but I no planned any big improvement this models....maybe only ejection seat....and maybe riveting. Otherwise, this is a relatively self-sufficient model. That's all for today. B.R. Serge
