We all know the M4, M26 and M46 in Korea, and the M48, M551 and M113 in Vietnam. But are there pictures of the pre-series T41 Bulldogs of their testing in Korea in 1953? Are photos of the M59 and M114 from Vietnam known? Did M41 # 30169845 (3CAV HQ) and M109 # 12A5365 (9-IF84) really fight in Vietnam? There could be many more questions, but I asked the most interesting ones from my point of view. Cheers Michael

AFAIK the US Army started introducing the MASSTER 4-colour camouflage in the early 70's (1972? 1973?). At the top of my stash of kits to build are, among others: M41 Walker Bulldog and 2 APCs - the tiny M114 and the mammoth M59. I already have documentation for the M114 in the MASSTER camouflage (thanks to Takom), the M41 went out of use in the US Army probably in 1969, so it's too old, but what about the M59? They served in garrisons in Germany supposedly until 1979. Has anyone seen any photos of the M59 in four-color MASSTER camouflage? Interestingly, there are photos of the M59 (unfortunately usually as the M84 mortar carrier) on the web in an even later MERDC camouflage, although - for me - they bear the hallmarks of the painter's improvisation. Each example has a different pattern, and IIRC the Army developed a separate template for each type of vehicle that had to be adhered to. Cheers Michael
