Hello fellows, Let me show some pics of my last model, the Tamiya King Tiger (Porsche Turret). I've tried to reproduce the camo scheme that is shown in the Tankmuseum... Here the real thing: All the build was easy, as is usual in Tamiya, and the only problem I had were with the zimmerit. But that was my fault...🤫 Apart from this, I'm pretty glad with the whole result, I hope you like it! I left out the right front fender. As you can see, I put and extra chain in the left side of the turret. And one slight layer of mud in wheels ans fenders. Your comments will be welcomed. And thanks for watching!! Josep

Hello friends, I have just buyed Das Werks's (Takom) King Tiger in 1/35 scale, and there in the box is very interesting paint scheme for this vehicle. It is noted as: Number 101 Tiger Auf.B, 1./s.H.Pz.Abt505, (No. 101-Kompaniechef Oblt. Freiherr von Reibnitz) In the area of Königsberg, Germany 10.01.1945. here is a drawing of it: So,please, can someone please confirm did this vehicle in this paint scheme existed in WWII as it was written and shown in the user manual of model kit? Or even better,if someone can please document it with at least one photo of this exact vehicle? All the best, And thank you in advance.

I've recently just completed my first 1/35 tank, it was a Tamiya Tiger Ausf E (Pictures below). My dilemma is this, I am sitting at my computer screen looking at the Tamiya King Tiger (Production Turret) 1/35 and the Tamiya Panzer IV Ausf H 1/35 and I cannot decide which one to purchase. Any advice or nudge in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Airfix 1/76 Pzkw VI Ausf.B 'King Tiger' Tank (A03310) with European Ruined Cafe (A75002) First attempt at any military kit for well over 40 years, since taking back up the hobby it has been mostly aircraft, thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the kit went together very well, need to brush up on the weathering skills. The ruined cafe which was picked up cheap on the Airfix site and provided a few hours of enjoyable painting. I will need to try and progress and do some proper dioramas.
