As I said in my other build thread, the Kinetic/Hypersonic NF-104A (together with a colourful option on the Caracal 'Test and Drone Zippers' sheet) inspired me to order the Hypersonic early F-104B/D conversion. It arrived incredibly quickly, so here we go. Here's what came in the box: Very nicely done 3D-printed conversion parts including replacement fuselage panels, the downward-firing seats, replacement cockpit coamings, instrument panels and nice clear canopies. There's a comprehensive and detailed instruction booklet as well as a small set of vinyl masks to mark out where to cut the fuselage. I'm planning to build this colourful example from the US Air Force Flight Test Center at Edwards AFB: I've started on modifications to the kit parts. I'll get a bit more done and post another update tomorrow. cheers Julian

I have a question about orientation and size of the fins on the wingtip tanks for F-104 A/C. The Kinetic kit shows same size for inboard and outboard, which I believe to be correct. But when assembling the parts only the inboard fins have anhedral. Is this correct, or am I doing something wrong? Does anyone have good drawing or photo showing fin details for these tanks?
