  1. Here's my next...KP Model's Piper L-18C, 100th Sq. IAF, Dov airfield, 1965. It looks alright. there are a couple of odd bits in the instructions, but I'll get the those later. Here's the box art... Back... My choice of profiles... And the sprue... Let me finish up another build (Sopwith Tripe) before I start this one. Next week I'll dig in, I think. --John
  2. Just saving my place for this GB, will be starting as soon as I finish the 1/32 Tempest. Will be an IAF bomb truck from the most desperate days of the October War (Yom Kippur) in 1973. Tamiya kit as the base, lots of photoetch and some excellent decals. Alan
  3. Hello to all of you.I present you my Israeli 1:72 Valom Fouga Magister Tzukit.A nice kit to work on if you dont consider the awfull fit of the glass parts.I painted it in gunze paints. Here is a youtube full video build of the kit so if you want to see more of the build process I reccomend you watch the video. Regards,Dragan
  4. Italeri 1/48 Nesher Israeli air force, 117 Sqn Hornets, Hatzor, flown by Glora Epstein, Yom Kippur war Oct 73. 1990 kit, raised panel lines. All acrylic and chalk pastel .Decals stuck with white glue and water mix. panel lines with HB pencil and pastel shading.
  5. Hello Friends, My follow up project to the Great Wall Hobby F-15I Ra`am was the Special Hobby SMB2 Super Mystere. Here are the notable features and my thoughts on the kit......... 1. Built mostly straight from the box. Used 0.6mm brass tubes to replace front pitot tubes under the intake. 2. Used Model Master, Mission Models, and some old ( but still useful ) Polly Scale acrylic paints. 3. Weathered with Flory & Vallejo washes, pencils, paint, and chalk pastels. 4. Depicted from No. 105 Squadron based at Hatzor, Israel. 5. Plumbers putty and small lead fishing sinkers were used to have the Mystere sit properly. 6. The kit supplied decals were excellent and responded well to setting solution. I found the kit to be mostly delightful with a few “fiddly” sections. For some odd reason, I had a couple of issues completely eliminating some of the seams. The kit is very well detailed and with little need for aftermarket accessories. I hope you enjoy this version of the French designed fighter-bomber. Thank you in advance for all of your comments and criticisms. With much respect, Mike
  6. Good night to all! here the last birth directly from my workbench... an israeli Mirage III CJ! Base kit is the Eduard, but I used the resin set for cockpit and wheel bays from SBM. Other details are from Eduard photoetched set, pitot from Master. For the natural metal finish I used the Aclad Lacquers and Mr.Paint semi gloss for the final coat. The decals are a mix from the kit and Isradecal set. Hope you'll enjoy. Cheers from Rome, Italy!
