I've been assembling model kits for a while now and I am starting to get comfortable and experienced enough to start modifying some of my models for better historical accuracy. My next build will be the Tamiya Bf 109 G-6, I've already planned to remove the umbrella holders only used on the trop versions (which I will not be recreating). Any other flaws/mistakes in the kit which you have noticed would be appreciated.

Hi, I plan to make a Revell Halibag over winter. The instructions would have you paint the pilot's station and cockpit bulkheads mostly interior green, but with the walls black. Does this sound plausible to you? Also, they indicate the gear bays are interior green, not black. Same question to you. Re inaccuracies, I believe the main wheels are too small, the upper bomb bay doors are not separate, the upper wing in front of the ailerons should have a longer chord, the H2S blister is ludicrously pointy and the scarfing on the nose in front of the rhs of the cockpit should be less angular. Oh, and the prop blades are too paddle-y. Is the above correct and, if so, is there anything else I should be aware of? Thanks in advance. Regards Martin
