Well, this week will be devoted to finishing something in the Matchbox Classic GB, but after that my group build calendar for 2022 has only these Dorniers and a Monogram classic before the Junkers Ju 88 related STGB starts late this year. And the KUTA . Couldn't resist opening a new thread here too, though. It's from the top of this pile this time. I don't have the guts for two splinter jobs in succession . Time permitting, the B-4 will hopefully enter this group build too. By the way, the plastics appear to be identical. It means I could do two B-5 night fighters of these, one in each scheme provided in the #72306 kit Keep on modelling! V-P

WW2 military subjects are not normally my barra however, I have always held a soft spot for the SB-2 and have fond memories of the Frog kit. I have had the ICM kit for some while and I have no got to the point where I plan to build it and I'm at an early stage of research. One question I have does anyone know the interior colour? The ICM colour out says 'Ghost Grey', is this correct ? I don't know which version I'm taking forward, part of me fancies a Russian machine with skis but on the other hand the colourful Spanish civil war aircraft appeal too. I have the excellent Print Scale decals and camo for both options, but I don't need to make that decision quite yet. Also if anyone has any links to websites with reference pictures/material that would be a help too. One last observation I don't think I have seen a 1/72 kit of this size with such a high parts count, to the point I venture it is over engineered, that said the detail looks absolutely excellent. Tommo.

In generally the ICM kit makes positive impression from it's building, and what's especialy surprised for me, decal is excelent. The model was completely assembled out of the box. Handles on the cabin and rear bampers it's the only parts were made by hand. Thanks for looking, any comments are welcome.

Hi Folks, here is my 1/72 ICM Bf109 E4 completed at the weekend as an E4B of Erg. Gr. JG54 but still wearing the markings of it's former unit, JG1. The model was made AAOOB (almost all out of the box!) but with seatbelts made from masking tape and a Quickboost resin tailwheel to replace the undersized ICM one. Decals came from the excellent Kagero Monograph series Bf109 E Volume 1. I really enjoyed painting this one, unusually for me, everything went on well at the first attempt using Mr Hobby Acrylics and Mr Color thinners with no respray required. Thanks for looking Duncan B
