I'm really enjoying making models again after a bit of a downer building aircraft. These Hobby Boss 1:350 subs are just nice little projects. So, here is my HMS Astute, she is not as sleek as the USS Greeneville I did, Astute seems more bulldog than greyhound. Thanks for looking. Deacon

Yes, I'm back again with another . But the good news is that I have got some other projects to do so won't be posting another sub for a while. Here she is.... Cheers Deacon

After seeing some cracking builds on here of the 1:350 Hobby Boss submarines, I decided that to get myself one or six! Here is the first, USS Greenville. She is a Los Angeles class submarine and the kit comes with the ASDS (Advanced SEAL Delivery System) mini-sub which allows Special Operation SEALS to use this mini-sub in covert operations (but you all knew that anyway). This was supposed to be a nice easy build. But, I miss-aligned the hulls and so set myself up with a lot of filling and sanding. My friends tell me I am awful at taking photos of my builds. It's all right for them, the closest they have to get to something is usually when they are taking a photo on holiday. Us modellers are about 2-3 feet from our subject. So any tips would be helpful. I have took two sets, the second pair are in natural daylight. Cheers Alan

I'm sorry guys, but I'm really enjoying making these Hobby Boss kits up. I don't think I have done as good a job on this one, but it still sits nicely with the others. and here are the others (Astute is still my favourite) Thanks for looking. Deacon
