Just finally got my mits on this its my first 0 gauge loco my favorite Diesel a Class 40 from Heljan. WOW ! It's massive and very satisfying to handle being so huge and heavy hand for comparison. It's a pretty epic way to get started in 0 even if I only have it for display its good enough for me. I intend to fit sound to it however and wire up the roof fan and lights. So I can have fun running it up and down like I remember them. I need to choose a number for it and maybe weather her lightly with some loose powder. The only down side is the box which is not well designed meaning there was not enough foam to stop the buffer beam at the other end being smashed in but I have spares and repaired it. Not a problem for me as I used to repair loco models for a living. it's given me chance to get to grips with how these 0 models are put together and that is very well indeed. I could be tempted by a 37 too. Just thought I'd share my excitement of this with you all. I always wanted a huge class 40 they are gorgeous beasts, HELLFIRE ! In fact When I have the sound in I'll post a video here. Cheers Rob
