One of my (many) New Year’s resolutions is one build per GB ( the only exception will be the Tiger GB) so this will be my sole ( crossing my fingers while I type) contribution to this GB still have to decide on the scheme but I am very tempted to build a Spanish civil war B model we shall see….. Or cheat and build it as a Casa 2

One of my latest models from 2019/2020. was a lot of fun to build, because there is nothing complicated. The only thing I did that I riveted the model. weathering and painting in the most usual methods we mostly know. sometimes it’s good to pick a model from the stash that you want to build 20 years ago !!! have fun….. Cheers Andy

Just purchased, off E bay, an old 1962 Lindberg Heinkel kit. The seller warned me that there could be pieces missing and for sure there was. So before we all start falling about laughing, I thought it would come in handy as to just paint the parts with the airbrush; and get some practice in If there is a chance of getting it sorted, however, I would love to use it as a project and build it. I can see this is a bit slim; due to it being an old kit. However, most of the parts are there and the ones that are broke will be fixed. At a million to one shot what would be the chances of getting an upper Aileron and some propellers for this project. Any suggestions as to were to source parts are 3D print them; without getting into silly money. Could anyone tell me the scale of this kit as its a bit bigger than 1/72. P.S - Not sure if Ive posted in the right place. Is there a place in the forums where you could possible ask people and try to scrounge spare parts. Thank you most kindly.

Just finished this, the new one from Airfix, a very nice kit, decals are from Kangero. Sorry the sign should read "Kampfgeschwader" ☺️ Cheers Jes

Can I join in with this one please?? Its from the stash, always a good incentive to get it built! Battered box - surely the previous owner looked inside and said - nah.... cool box art tho Sprues - apologies for lighting - cant really see the quality of the plastic... Looks t be a bit of flash and some indistinct moulding here and there - nothing I am not used to And kit and aftermarket decals from Steelwork-Models.DE. I am fancying a splinter 3 colour camo machine - a few options. Kit decals present the serial in white, whereas I have only ever seen black serials - anyone comment? Wont be starting until I have completed the three models in the Heli group build, so need to push on with those. Cheers JP

I heard just recently that the He 111 kit in my stash should contain all of the parts needed to build the torpedo variant. It just lacks the actual torpedoes and that´d not be a problem. Substituting parts F1 and F2 with G1 and G2, plus J7:s with J8:s should do the trick? Browsing quickly through the Revell 1:32 scale kit instructions I couldn´t spot other differences. I´m a bit suspicious with parts J6 and K5 that are shown as parts not used in the bomber variant. I hope someone with the bomber kit (Hasegawa #00753, rare as hens' teeth) instructions could confirm these, please! Regards, V-P

Hello All, Here is an Airfix Heinkel 111, extensively modified, and backdated to an H-1. The model represents the "Humbie Heinkel", which was the first German bomber to be shot down over the British mainland, in October 1939 . Build thread is here. I had a lot of fun doing it, but I won't be doing another one. Thanks for all the comments and support along the way! Thanks for looking, Adrian
