  1. Not usually my thing to 'Pimp' a street car, but just couldn't help m'self... Aoshima kit, not a straightforward build but pretty good. Tamiya TS44 Light Gunmetal overall, A Pillars, skirts & air dams all Tamiya enamel (standard) Gunmetal. Decals plucked from an unsuspecting Revell Mitsubishi Eclipse. Wheels are after-market Aoshima's - Rays 19" GT-C's. As ever thanks for taking the time to look, all comments, abuse and questions are welcome. Next, something very, very small. Ian.
  2. Started this a couple of days ago. Very straightforward Tamiya 'curbside' kit of one of the last Nismo R34's to escape from Nissans' 'Skunkworks'. All the body needed was the (frankly b*tt-ugly) front air-dam/grill one-piece section added, then a good rub-down with a Tamiya 1000 grit scuffing pad and a couple of quick coats of their white primer. I also rescribed all the panel lines to make them a lot deeper - a tip I have happily adopted from Tom Rujter - Looks pretty nice just in the glass smooth primer, will shoot the first of the two-tone paint tomorrow hopefully. Stay tuned folks and please feel free to ask any questions or make any comments. AFN Ian.
  3. This was this year's first build. I did start paint the body in the autumn of last year though. The kit is the recent street custom release of Tamiya's great KPGC10 skyline GT-R. The steel wheels in the original release are massively oversized lol. The paint is Ford Signal green from Halfords, and is a great come and get me colour. I've used this paint again on my current Charger build as it is just suited to Mopar muscle lol. The Watanabe wheels are Revell Anthracite. Anyway Pics ahoy: And some WIP pics: [ TTFN Ashley.
