Hello, I had a nightmare problem with one of the exhaust 'flash' decals on this model. Result- buy another kit to obtain the replacement. Here is the end-product of my first ever build of an Eduard kit. It's nicely moulded with exceptionally tight tolerances. Too tight for a ham-fisted bodger like me. I had the devil of a job to get the wheel bays to fit inside the fuselage / wing join. They just would not sit properly. Bodged it with some heavy filing and a small amount of filler. The decal problem was of my own making. It rolled up on me as it was being applied. Nothing would unroll it, even dropping it back into the water. (Anyone got a solution for that problem - I have not been able to figure out a recovery process). Anyway, the upshot was a lot of frustration but an eventually completed model. Not my finest work. But at least it's done. Now starting a second Fw 190 (somehow and suddenly I had an extra one) and I've hit the same struggle with the wheel well parts not sitting properly. What am I doing wrong ?
