This will be my second attempt at a Fujimi A-4, the first is this still to be finished TA-4S conversion started a couple of years ago, maybe I will try and finish it along with this build.

I have a few builds in mind for this GB - almost certainly won't get to them all - to start with, I'm going to build the Fujimi KV-107 as a Swedish HKP-4 using a rather nice looking decal sheet from Moose Republic: I'm planning on an out of the box build, and I'll be finishing it as one of the green/tan/black/dayglo options like the middle one in the photo. I'll make a start in a few days. cheers Julian

Last of my lockdown builds....the old (ish) but still excellent Fujimi A-7D. Picked this one up at a model show last year for a very cheap price and it's worth every penny. Built completely OOB. The decals were the only weak point... probably not helped by the age of the kit, but i just about managed to salvage them as i really wanted to do the sharkmouth 23rd TFW machine. Paints were freehand airbrushed tamiya with a varnish of Vallejo premium gloss...and then satin to finish the job. Thanks for looking!

In the Nordic GB I have built a number of planes which, perhaps inevitably are similar to very many other entries, so for this GB I thought I would try and find a more unusual subject. I initially was thinking of a Cutlass and Demon, but clearly they are not unusual enough as others have already entered them, so after a bit of head scratching I thought I would start with this. Back in the mid 1970's I picked up the Hasegawa A-6A which they released in 1968, and sometime in the 1990's I picked up their reboxing as an A-6E TRAM. Later I came across a couple of interesting Fujimi vers

The venerable Fujimi F-4K/ FG-1 kit remains the only game in town for a Spey engined Phantom in 72nd scale, (unless you really like the Matchbox kit) and pops up now again as Fujimi do another limited re- issue, and can be picked up on the various auction sites around the web inbetween times. [/url] Thankfully, its still a very nice kit, the tooling holding up nicely and no problems with flash or short shots with my edition. This is my latest attempt, with the Xtradecal set X72003 providing the markings for a 43(F) Squadron aircraft circa 1971. Humbrol enamels overall. I'm not too sure

Hi All I know I’m a bit late joining this group builds, but I should be able finish on time. I don’t have a good record on finishing group builds, I started an F-15 last year and I'm still working on it. I’m going to build the Fujimi 1/72 Iranian Air Force F-14a. I plan to start tomorrow and I will try an put up some photos everyday as I build. Anyway here are some photos of the kit. Ken

WESTLAND LYNX HAS 2 702 NAS, HMS Avenger Flight, Yeovilton 1979 This is the Fujimi 1/72 kit with a few alterations, the main ones being a new tail rotor drive shaft cover to give a more bulked-out look compared with the kit, reshaped fin (the kit gives the Army style fin) and reshaped exhaust area. I left the main cabin empty but worked on the cockpit a bit. The kit doesn't supply the pilot's collective for some reason even though the other 3 sticks / levers are there so that had to be added. I also repositioned the cyclic sticks nearer to the seats to give room for the instrument pa

Hi All, Fujimi 1/72 Silver Jubilee Phantom. Probably one of the best schemes applied to the F-4. The kit was built from the box with the addition of Modeldecal sheet 44. Xtra Colour Enamels used for painting. Brian.
