  1. This is the Trumpeter Su-15TM, which is a very nice kit (fits well, lovely surface detail – not all of it correct) but as a model of the real aircraft has well-established shape problems, most notably errors in the nose and tail. These I went some way to addressing with a Pavla nose and vertical tail. I also used the Pavla cockpit set and a Master pitot probe, the latter being both a finely manufactured item and so easy to assemble. In addition, I lengthened the nose gear leg by 3.5mm to give a more correct nose-up stance and added a little detail. The Ukrainian markings for Blue 28 are from the AModel Su-15TM kit and the stencils are from Begemot. The wing pylons probably should be late type by the time this aircraft was flying in Ukrainian colours but I realised that too late.
  2. Hello, this is my quite converted Amodel 1:72 Su-15T T-58T Prototype. Red 37. This plane was in Solntsevo, then in Khodynka museum first standing in the meadow and i hope it is now salvaged in Medyn. The Amodel is superdetailed to the standard of the VES one...
  3. Hello, this is my second Flagon in polished NMF... Cheers!
  4. Sukhoi Su-15 NATO reporting name 'Flagon'. Su-15TM Flagon-F featuring Taifun-M radar and additional aerodynamic modifications, including new radome design for improving radar performance. Pics taken at The Ukraine State Aviation Museum Zhulyany, Kiev. Pics thanks to Dave Haskell.
  5. How does the A-model 1:72 Su-15TM compare with the old NPO VES kit ? ( for someone used to Italeri / Revell the VES kit was a nasty shock - soft plastic, giant sprues, bits that didn't fit ..... finished article now sitting on the 'shelves of shame' )
