9 or so months ago I started my first ever model build, this Zvezda A320NEO. It was supposed to be an easyJet aircraft (I started a build thread but it tapered off, will do better next time) but I wasn’t happy with the livery as I applied it so I left it on the bench for some months as I just wasn’t happy building something that wasn’t as good as it could be. Life then got in the way but recently I had some spare time so I decided to switch tact hoping to build my skills and come back to the easyJet livery. I decided to complete it in ITA Airways livery as it’s a lovely shade of blue and wow, it was worth the change! Only change from an easyJet aircraft is the engines are PW1100G instead of CFM LEAP. I’ve learned so much during the build about how I would improve it and it’s an OOB build with only photo realistic windows from Authenic Airliners as a modification. I would love to hear your thoughts, I know there are some areas the camera pics up that I could improve on (and the antenna should be white but I’ve been burned with paint reactions throughout the build so they can stay blue for now!) but overall, for a first go, I’m very happy.

AIRFIX HO/OO Village Church Howdy folks - this is my first venture into the diorama region of the forum. I have recently been having a massive amount of fun in the Airfix: The Golden Years GB… https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/forum/626-airfix-the-golden-years-gb/ …however I know a lot of folk don’t tend to look at the group builds – unless it is of special interest to their ‘field of expertise’. The GB is covering all aspects of ‘old Airfix’ which includes a lot of buildings and the like – so – I thought I would pop some finished items here, in case they are of interest to anyone in the future. May I firstly show you my churchyard build. This was the first element of a ‘proper’ diorama I had planned and I’m a complete diorama novice – so please be kind… ...it lights up too... If you want to check out all the fun I had along the way you can find the build thread here… Thanks for looking and if you have any useful tips I could use for future builds – please feel free to comment. I hope you like it and happy modelling - Steve
