  1. I’ve just started reading War of Lanka having just finished he who fights with monsters volume 7 and I came up with this, a group build of things that never existed. It could be a fictional or sci-fi theme, a plane that never got off the drawing board a pure what if, with accompanying story line or a creature or object from literature or fantasy. Based on the War of Lanka I’m thinking of the Pushpak Viman a prehistoric helicopter, or a dropship from one of Marklo Kloos military sci fi books. So how about it a GB of pure fantasy. 1. @Marklo 2. @ColonelKrypton 3. @Corsairfoxfouruncle 4. @psdavidson 5. @MARADER 6. @Bertie McBoatface 7. @Robert Stuart 8. @Thom216 9. @JOCKNEY 10. @jackroadkill 11. @81-er 12. @Bertie McBoatface 13. @Kallisti 14. @Adam Poultney 15. @Rob G
  2. Bonjour à tous, un petit diorama fantastique, je l'ai construit il ya quelques années. Nous sommes en Brocéliande, la forêt célèbre dans mon pays (pleine de légendes) (Figurines Mithril → 32mm)
  3. This month we have some great new releases from the Master Box range of plastic model kits this month covering such subjects as World War I, World War II and some fantasy too! The four new kits released this month are: A 1/35 British Infantry "Before The Attack" WWI Era model figures kit, some 1/35 "Skull Clan Death Angels" from the Master Box "Desert Battle" Series, a 1/35 WWII era French Soldier and Bicycle kit and finally a 1/35 scale kit of German Motorcyclist figures. For full details see our newsletter here.
  4. I was casting about for something quick and fun to do last week and my wife suggested the Super Dungeon Explore miniatures, which have been sitting in the box for a few months since I bought the game. I thought that'd fit the bill nicely, little did I know how much pain I was letting myself in for vis-a-vis mould lines and assembly! It took about three days of spare time to clean up and assemble the 50-odd figures, and once I'd primed them I had to go right back and do some more scraping. They're still not perfect, but I wanted to get the brushes out and paint something at the weekend. Hence these two kobolds with slings. The sculpts are cute but the detail is a bit soft so I've been trying to define the shapes with a bit of trompe-l'oeil on the bandages and around the mouth. I'm also trying to kick some bad painting habits (not thinning enough) and paint with a global light source rather than highlighting everything. Click to embiggen I'm an incredibly slow (and clumsy) mini painter, but I like the brush discipline the process is painfully teaching me so I'll probably keep coming back to these over time. It's not obvious from these kobolds that the designs are deliciously chibi, but when I get to the heroes the appeal should be clear Cheers, Will
