Hi Modellers My F-14 Tamiya in 48 scale Managed to squeeze an Eduard Cockpit fitted with Quintadecals into it. Eduards Cockpit is not meant to be built into a closed model, thats for sure. Alpha probe and camera underneath the nose aftermarket, exhaust a mix from reskit and KA models. Decals a mix of furball and modelkasten and homemade (because i f... up) Paints Gunze, Tamiya and Oils from various art material suppliers. Took me a looong time and since this wish started in 1995 i kept the Jolly Rogers theme. But in all grey as i am myself now. Thanks for watching.

I present my go at LS models 1/144 Sundowners Tomcat. Kit won on ebay for a couple of quid. On opening some good detail, but also, no seats, no cockpit, no shoulder pylons, no tanks, only Sparrow missiles. How do I make something good from this. Well please enjoy the following pictures & as always your comments are greatly welcomed. All brush painted with Humbrol enamels. Firstly the box, then a WIP picture & finally the completed model. This will now go in a deep picture frame & up on the wall. This is the third model I have built in this way, but none of them are as good as the first one I made for my Father in Law which was a 1/48 Spitfire shown below. Like I said before thanks for looking. Hockeyboy

Good evening fellow modellers, I hope this Sunday evening finds you well & full of a sense of modelling joy. I won on eBay a 1/144 F14 Tomcat for a couple of quid. Got to Love a Tomcat. What a kit. No seats, no cockpit, no shoulder pylons, no drop tanks, only Sparrow missiles. How do I turn this into a work of art? I have a plan, painting has started & photos to follow!
