Morning all,
After the struggle with the T.1 Hawk...my next project will be the Airfix 1:48 E.E Canberra PR.9, registration XH168
Box Art
My gods its a big bird too....
I've chosen XH168 for 58 Squadron, RAF Wyton, as my dad was stationed there during the early '70's as well as my eldest brother being born there too in 1971.
I'd like to keep this as close to the PR.9's that were stationed there as possible, but I am in a predicament as to the paint scheme.
The box art and scheme states that the 1963 PR.9 XH168 was in a Silver paint scheme with black markings for anti-flash

However, I was unsure if XH168 towards the late '60's early '70's adopted the NATO cammo scheme similar to XH169 (see below)

Also, I am unsure whether to go for the extra detailed Cockpits from Hannants?

The standard cockpit out of the box is actually reasonably good, with some cleaver painting it should be OK.
Any advise / hints / tips for this build or for the Canberra PR.9 would be great.
Thanks to all in advance
