Hi everyone This here is another project I've revived whilst still working on my M1A2 TUSK, an M60A1 I've had for a number of years but never completed. Compared to some of those abandoned kits, this one was in fairly good nick, painted up and sporting no damage. I even had the parts available to finish the build. I resprayed its camo and touched up it, then painted up the figures and added the decals. Clear-coated, applied some Mig wash and then sealed it with matt varnish (which has given it a slight fading, like the appearance of a very fine dust, particularly on the crew). I'm still considering adding some pigments to it, possibly to replicate the aftermath of a beach landing (I do have some beach sand pigments). I have the old Tamiya US soldiers kit as well, which I've also painted up for a late 80s scenario, to go along with it. I also have a plan to pick up some more stowage to add to it, since the stowage I have I spent painting in ACU for my Abrams. Anyway, enough waffling. Bring on the pics Gaz

A few things you don't see every day, from a great day out at the Donington Historic Festival: Sunbeam Tiger LM Coupe Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato Mercedes W125 continuation Jaguar XJR-15 Facel Vega 2 My garage... ;-P DBR1, DB3S and DP212 (I think...) Lancia Aurelia ERA and Alfa wheel to wheel Not the best picture, but the unique ERA GP1 in action... Senna's Lotus 97T in which he won his first GP, before it went out on the track... In the car park... I just liked the colour! I guess if you can afford to run a classic racecar, the odd supercar is pocket change... Lots more, including some detail shots of some modelling use here: http://cmatthewbacon.smugmug.com/Cars/Donington-Classics-2013/29286583_Knvk5R bestest, M.
