  3. Not halfway through the GB and the F-89 is going well. Restrictions means an unusual amount of free time so I am going to start this DreamModel F-5E which is new this year and I got from the Big H when it got to the UK last month. There had been a lot of negative comments about cost and accuracy. But for me it seems the going rate for kits from the Far East now; with a new Hasegawa 1/72 F-4 >>£50. This has a large box, delicate details, sprues engineered for other variants, multiple different options, large coloured painting and decalling guides, and a tiny PE fret for seat b

  8. In a kind of a Mojo-rush after finishing my ZIL fuel truck, I decided to make a weekend build of my Z-9A from DreamModel before continuing on my Z-10. Well, we had a nice start with the PE parts which were a pleasure to work with. The back seats are not a part of the etch set Z-9A, they are from a Z-9WA. I had one set in spare so I can use some parts of it. Than cleaning the main body of the parts that would be used for the "WZ" variants and making a dry-fit was joyful as well. Than I did a bit of research and it doomed me that this wil
  9. Bell P-39Q/N Dream Model 1:32 The new 1:32 Bell P-39Q/N from KittyHawk is a very nice kit straight from the box, but there’s always room for improvement, and Dream Model have released this etch set just for this occasion. Designed purely for the cockpit the single pre-painted sheet is full of those useful little items that can really make a cockpit. The set also includes the instrument panels in a three part systems, where the instruments, printed on an acetate sheet are glued to the back of the panel, then white pare, the templates of which are provided are glued to the back of the
