hi guys, instead of doing futile work on the Mk.59, I decided to start another Hunter..... yeah, this pending Airfix kit is intimitating my poor Academy offerings, so I will try to do them and all the AM guys some justice this time a plain F.6, but in not too common Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) markings, some time around the 6 day war in 1967 as of yesterday the kit was resting in the cellar, but when I looked through all the Resin and decals I gathered for the Mk.59, it was swiftly brought up and immediately started in order to bring her up the a level were some synergies could possibly be achieved with the other one this one will use PJ productions F.6 gun throughs with the old style muzzle flash deflectors: definitely better than the kit ones ... the F.6 tail cone is from Heritage and molded in one piece: fit on at least one side is good thanks for watching and any comments, tips and criticism!

Hi folks! As a follow on to this thread that I started on the subject, here's the finished result! Humbrol colours used throughout, with DP Casper decals from this set. Very good decals, just be careful how you place them - they stick like limpits! Thanks to the guys to helped me with the colours etc - much appreciated! Constructive comments welcome! Mike.

Hi everyone, Since we've had quite a few Fleet Air Arm Corsairs lately, I thought I'd add one more! Here's the Tamiya 1/72 F4U-1A kit completed as Corsair II JT410 T8H as flown by Sub Lt Donald J Sheppard, RCNVR, of No 1836 Sqn flying from HMS Victorious in January 1945. Decals were from DP Casper's "Operation Meridian" sheet and the model was painted with a mixture of Humbrol, Revell and Xtracolor enamels. I used Dana Bell's two excellent Aircraft Pictorial books on the Corsair as reference. Thanks also to the guys who answered my questions relating to the aircraft in the THREAD I started back in August. I have no idea if the codes are the right way round on the left side, but I used JT422 T8B for guidance as I have an image of that aircraft in "Eyes for the Phoenix" by Geoffrey Thomas. I actually completed the model about three weeks ago, but this is the first chance I've had to take pictures of it! Comments welcome! Mike.
