Hi, today I would like to share my Avia B-534 in the markings of the plane flown by Captain Jan Pernikar, 44th Fighter Squadron of the 1st Air Regiment, Czechoslovak Air Force, 1936. The plane's serial number is B.534.81. On June 19th 1936, Cpt. Pernikar suffered an accident in this aircraft at Uzhhorod. He later flew Hawker Hurricanes in No. 245 Squadron RAF in 1941, and participated in the Slovak National Uprising in 1944. This was a charming and well-designed little kit that took me about a week to build. It is brush painted and the rigging is EZ Line .003" elastic. Thanks for looking and enjoy the pictures!

Hi folks, this is the Eduard kit built from the "Silver arrows" rebox as an example that operated in the past from my local (Brno) military airport at the late 1980's. The '1304' was one of the four PF's that upgraded for taking the calibrating 'R-V pod' that was intended for calibration of the SA-6 Gainful anti-aircraft system that was located nearby. The pod was modified from the standard 'R-type' recon pod and the aircraft operated it till their retirement. In 1990 the '1304' was donated to RAF Benevolent Fund and later sold to the Pacific Air Museum on Hawai, where it stands up to recent time in a fictive camouflage scheme of a North-Vietnamese machine. The kit was built using Eduard brassin aftermarket pod and painted in Aluminium paint, since this machine went through the major overhaul. Otherwise, the PF's served in NMF covered with a protective coat of clear varnish. Cheers, Libor
