  1. I had been sitting on the masters of these kits for some years. I had the wheels re-mastered by John Shinton some time ago and was approached My Martin of Coastal craft earlier in the year as he was interested in bringing them to market.... so here they are. The first two kits were released at SMW, and we now have the kits available on our website. 1/20th Cooper T51 Jack Brabham  1959 Monaco GP Winner Kit 1959 T51c Kit parts 1/20th Cooper T51 Chris Bristow  1960 Monaco GP 1960 kit parts The kits feature several different resins for the parts. Bodywork & details in standard grey resin. Suspension parts are in a harder black resin and the tyres are cast in soft black resin. Vacformed windscreens, decals and an instruction sheet is included. (Note the instructions are being redone at the moment should be ready in a few weeks). We had half of the production run, 15 of each kit and they are retailing for £100 each & we will include a set of micro mesh sanding sticks to help with the build. Thanks, Paul
  2. For the finished model: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234969746-a-first-tamiya-morris-mini-cooper-1275s-done/ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello guys, new here. I bought the Morris Mini last month or so and ive been working on it for awhile now. Also just to note, this is my first project EVER so i can't promise quality work. Also i was hoping to get a few tips here. Ok so here are a few pictures of it so far. So far the Engine is completely done. Im now at the brakes and..well...im not sure how to connect them to the engine bits. So ya,if anyone knows how exactly to put them on,ill be thankful for the info. Like do i have to put glue (i use revell contacta) in the bits excluding the part that makes the tire spin and how do i actually make it turn 90 degrees? EDIT: Nvm the brakes,i actually managed to figure it out lol after an hour or so.Now i can move both brake disks left and right Ok so small update. I painted the Chassis and i learnt a lesson. I should seriously NOT use nail polish (or maybe it just wasnt my day) because its too thick and falls off easily. I covered up the nail polish on the floor panel with gun metal paint. Yes it does look a bit lighter, but that'll do for now.
  3. Not sure how long this has been going on but Fernando Pinto in Portugal is now selling his models in kit form. He only used to supply built models as far as I am aware. Some nice subjects for fans of classic/vintage open wheelers. I ordered one of these from him last week. The kits are available on ebay, open to bidding but he sells them without having to bid if you contact him through message seller. Looks like a nice kit, I'm looking forward to this one. He also does a 1958 Dino 246. If the Cooper builds up nice I will probably have one of his Dino's as well. http://www.ebay.co.u...d7472a12&_uhb=1 Regards, Steve.
