Here I go again...Another post-war Spit, this time from the SAAF, 1951. This is also my first foray into the Sword catalogue so I am going forewarned and forearmed after reading several other threads! And now that the GB ha been extended even longer I might, if I am industrious, even get another one after this...holy smokes! Anyway...let's not get ahead of ourselves, right? Here's the box top. Looks like a sleek little shark. ..and the sprues. Good looking detail and I am pretty sure it shares some moulding with the other Czech Spitfire kits (AZ/KoPro). I have already primed this. I like the decal assortment. The kit also came with an additional fuselage, a Mk.?? with a triangular section behind the canopy, like a head rest. I am not sure what this is...I'll be building the low-back aircraft. The decals give me some good ideas for some future builds. --John

This will be a snazzy little number. I want to use up the Czechoslovakian markings that came with the Greek Spifire and, luckily, I have some extra Spitfires to spare... This will be a build using one of AZ Model's 'Joy Pack' Spits and the KP Model's decals, so not entirely OOB, but close. It's that red lightening bolt that caught my eye... I think KP and AZ use the same moulds, btw...😉 Someday I might even build an English Spitfire...
