Hi all, I'm currently working on the ICM Beech 18/C-45/JRB-4 kit, and planning to do it as a Japanese one. Sadly the kit comes with only the early antennas that were used on WW2 ones. I'm trying to scratchbuild the one that sits on top of the cockpit, like the ones on these: http://www.gonavy.jp/bbs1/img/3018-3.jpg https://www.aircraftcovers.com/media/images/11977.jpg And this one, minus the pointy top bit: http://www.rcaf-arc.forces.gc.ca/assets/AIRFORCE_Internet/images/news-nouvelles/2013/11/INCP-10-2031 Wiggler 2.jpg I think it was also used on some other planes of that period, like this Dutch DHC-2 Beaver: http://www.thunderstreaks.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/De-Havilland-Canada-Beaver-S-5-Volkel-20-6-1970-J.A.Engels-ct18-61-62.jpg Anyone got a better (top side) pic of this type of antenna? Thanks in advance, Pete

Beechcraft C-45s 1:48 Iliad Designs This sheet is for the new ICM kit which is also available in a Revell box. It features three new schemes for the C-45; SNB-2h from Naval Air Station Jacksonville. This is a Hospital aircraft in NMF with Red Crosses in addition to the national insignia. AT-7C from an unknown unit in 1946, urging Enlistment. Aircraft is NMF UC-45J from Naval Air Station Atsugi in Japan from the mid 1960s. It is noted this aircraft has the longer engine nacelles not in the kit. The decals are well printed, in register and look colour dense. They should pose no problems to the modeller. Conclusion This sheet is an interesting sheet of units not normally in the main stream. If you want something different for your C-45 then this sheet is to be recommended. Review sample courtesy of
