I'll join in with this. italeri 1/72 kit and S&M decals. Will be building a Wessex 60, operated by Bristow but not the one on the decal sheet - instead it will be "G-ATSC" placed an order for some PE & some reference books. Already started fettling the nose intake area; would like to finish my S-61N before focussing on this but will see how things go... cheers Aaron

Hello, I would like to present my 1/72 Westland Wessex 60 series 1. Italeri kit with windows modified for a Wessex 60. Intake grill also opened up as these were removed for North Sea flying; I believe it was because they could ice up and block the intakes but not certain of that? Detailed with Eduard photo etch and brass rod & wire. Decals are from two S&M sets (for the Bristow & BP logo), the registration is from an RAF letter set and the stencils are a mish mash from my spares. Slightly over weathered for this aircraft, so apologies to any Bristow employees (Past & present) as I'm sure you would not allow your aircraft to get in this state The model represents C/N wa560, G-ATSC as operated by Bristows from North Denes. For info, in 1976 this aircraft ditched in the North Sea shortly after takeoff from West Sole gas rig platform C, after both engines stopped due to ingestion of the not removed engine intake covers, 14 occupants, thankfully no casualties. Hello, I decided on these when the GB was first suggested since then whirlybirds have made life easier and issued an aftermarket set specifically for one of the aircraft I want to build. Not sure when I'll get to start or how much time I'll get but will see how things go. Two builds, in tandem so I'll keep them both here. First up is an Bell 205 used by Bristow helicopters to transport land rigs around Indonesia. Don't have much more info that that at the moment but the decal set is from S&M (SSM72-007 civil choppers) and the kit will be Italeri's UH-1D. second is G-BALZ. AB212 used by Bristows in the North sea (around the Brent Oil field during the 1980s into the early 90s I think?) It spent some time based on the treasure finder as well. I'll post some links at a later date with photos of both aircraft. Italeri AB212 kit with, as mentioned, whirlybirds G-BALZ set which includes resin parts, some PE and decals for G-BALZ in 3 schemes. I also have the Eduard PE set for the 212 as well. cheers for looking
