Some images from my Sterling Airliner. Bought a STL file from the net and converted it into 1/72 and printed it in a resinprinter. Took me about 3 month to get everything right but in Januar 25 it was finished. Printed the fuselage in Clear resin, its not perfect but gives a better impression than only black decals. The windows allow light to shine threw, so thats acceptable for me, (ok has to, as I can't do it better😁). Most of the logos are masked and painted, the smaller ones are decals. All of Sterlings 727 looked like a bit individual, but I found some good refference of this so I hope I haven't made too many mistakes. here is an pic before I'd realized I had swapped the intakes of the engines, so after the picture was taken I cut them away and swapped sides...................

I'm hoping to manage a few builds in this GB (famous last words!) and I think I'll start with a Boeing 727. I don't think I've built a 727 since I built the original Airfix 727-100 at least 40 years ago, so it's about time. I'll post the sprue pics later. I've got decals in the stash for a few different schemes so I'm unlikely to go for the JAT option in the box. I've got four that were designed specifically for this kit - two Braniff schemes (jellybean and flying colours), Sterling and Dan-Air - and two that weren't but will hopefully fit (American Airlines delivery scheme and Republique Populaire Du Congo). The only one I'm ruling out for now is the Congolese one, just because there's already been a build of that one on BM so I want to do something different. Plenty of time before I have to decide. cheers Julian

Hi Everyone Im doing an Airfix Boeing 727-200 in Iberia Colours. Looking at photos it appears the instructions are all wrong. The instructions state the 727 have grey wings and tail plains with a grey belly. Looking at photos it appears that the aircraft in the box, EC-CFI, Has white tail planes with a bm leading edge and the belly is just white. The main wings is what i need help on. The photos i have found show the wings being white, but the front is silvery grey, can anyone confirm to me what colour that is was and if it is on the underside. Thanks Bradley
