Here is my latest. The italeri/bilek Su-17UM.The kit is a bit crude but nothing too bad and nothing that an avarege modeller cant assemble.I added seatbelt and a gunsight and the rest is OOB.I painted the kit with gunze and tamiya acrylics. .

Hello to all.I have finished this kit several days ago.I have added eduard PE in the cockpit. The kit is a bit innacurate but so far it is the best M4 out there in 72 scale.I built it because I plan to get the new modelsvit m4 when it will be available and I dont want this one to go to waste. Not the worst kit when the fit is concerned but it is not easy as well.I used tamiya and gunze paints for the painting and the decals came from the spares box.I have also filmed the whole video process and If you are interested in seeing it you can do that on the link bellow.

I needed a quick and easy build to fit in between a couple of builds in the Non-Injection Group Build and this is what happened! - Bilek MiG-21PFM with Albatross Cuban AF decals. Thanks for looking. Steve

Hi all, A new venture for me. My first WIP posting... ever! I've always been nervous of exposing myself to criticism but encouraged by a well known and regular contributor to Britmodeller I'm giving it a go with my MIG-21UM build, which is running along side three other very different models. I will apologise right now because it will be slow and occasional as I barely get much modelling time let alone time to post how I do/did it! So here goes, and be gentle with an old man..... The kit is the Bilek MIG-21UM in 1/72. It is as you might expect, rather basic, but having built one previously along with a Kopro equivalent I think it is the only option in this scale, sadly. Its not bad, though. It has fine engraved lines and apart for the shallow dorsal spine it is okay from a shape perspective. I have gathered together a few resin and vac form bits to help the old girl along. This what I have so far and as I start cutting, sanding, cementing, filling and painting I'll post more. All the best to all, Martin

Hey Guys. I finally finished with this one. It was a nice kit to build, although it has some faults and is kinda basic. Anyway, this is the result. It's a Romanian marking...representing a Yak 23 Flora belonging to the first squadron, 135 Fighter regiment, circa 1955. This was the first jet fighter of the Romanian Air Force. WIP here : http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235000412-yak-23-flora/#comment-2319309 Any comments welcomed. Thanks and regards,

Heya Guys, Since I have at least 2 ongoing and unfinished projects, it seems like common sense to start another one. I guess that this is what happen when one is running out of steam with unfinished projects. Anyway, I just couldn't stop myself so here we go...after some rummage through the pile of plastic boxes, the winner was the Yak 23 from Bilek. I don't know why I choose it...maybe because of that vintage look of the early jets, which the little Yak captures very well methinks. Ok, so first of all the classic presentation of what's in the box:

SAAB JAS-39D Gripen, Hungarian Air Force, no 42, Kecskemet AB 2013 (this aircraft crashed last week in Caslav AB, Czech Republic!). Made from Bilek`s kit (ex-Italeri) with some modifications. Used additionals: pitots by Master, PE sets by Bilek and Eduard, seats by Pavla.
