  1. Hi there Here is my new project, a Spitfire MK I, new tooling from Airfix 1/72. I've gathered some info (mostly here in this forum) but I'm still with a few doubts to depict the Dw-K from the 610Sq. Looking these photos: Does this aircraft have that Yellow lozenge o the upper left wing? Also, the wheel bay and back of the wheels covers are in the same colour as the underside? Do the helices have that small yellow dot at the base (manufacturer?) or just restored planes have it? It also seems that there is no registration on the fuselage. Sorry about so many questions! Cheers
  2. I have been wanting to visit the RAF Museum for a long time. Yesterday, despite the weather I convinced the wife to accompany me on a visit. I specifically wanted some close up picts of the Spitfire. I was so dissapointed. The lighting was terrible. It dull and gloomy. Never mind the poor conditions as far photography.
  3. Hello! Here is my 109 from Tamiya. No additional accessories were used. But I took the white scissors from the Kagero book "Jagdwaffe over England". The plane was painted with Gunze/Vallejo. Then a washing with thinned black and brown pastels was done. After decals a strechted Q-Tip antenna completed the model. If you have any question just ask! I hope you like it!! Greetings
  4. I'd like your help chaps and chapess's as well of course. I'm going to do a 109 E and I've chosen a 1940 JG 53 one this time. This is the one with largish green areas and patches of RLM 02. I've got several profile views but nothing even giving a hint of the wing paterns. Now I know I've seen a photo put up somewhere on the ' Interweb ' in the last few weeks but do you think I can find it ? If you can help me it will meen that much more precious modelling time for me. I'm also working on how to post pics. of my finished efforts. Thanks in advance to all my new found 'Mates' in advance for your guidance. Mike W.
