Hi all, This is not my usual part of the forum but I have build this Autoblinda AB 41 in 1/48 scale. It is a Tamiya box but originaly released by Italeri. Quite a good kit but the assembly is not as precise as a real Tamiya one! I build the AB41 from the box. Paint is a mix of XF59 and XF60 followed by a little weathering. The model scheme is of the Polizia Africa Italiana in Tunisia , early 1943. Thank you for your attention and keep modelling! Lolo

A fun little build. As usual, the camera doesn't quite do my model justice, but what can you do?

A few quick snaps before I prime. The Italeri kit was a quick, fun build without too many issues aside from some minor gaps in the armour plates, slightly unhelpful instructions that showed a few parts as looking slightly different to they actually are (The box art was a great reference though) and slightly simplified detail (to my eye) in places. Other than that, I'm happy with this one. Any suggestions of which colour to use? I'm struggling to find references for Italian Olive Green.

Hello gentlemen, One of the interest of Christmas hollidays (beside presents, that is), is the hability to complete sont some shelf queens. This one was begun this summer and is now complete. Straight out of the box, painted with Gunze acrylics, a tad of weathering and pigments and that's it. Supposed to be based in Italy, in 1942. Hope you'll like it, and as susual, comments and crits most welcome. Best, Stef (#6)

That's a OOB project. I have used a brazilian brand of acrylics as base color plus, two highlights and two shadows. There is just one brown filter and one wash. Both enamel. The matt varnish is acrilic, also a brazilian brand.
