I received this book for Christmas, very readable.
It describes that Frank Whittle was allowed to taxi the E28/39 out onto the field for the taxi trials - whizzing straight upto 60knots.
We'll keep you legend alive Sir.
And we are custodians for this, the only completed copy of the Arba kit I've ever seen - and jolly heavy too!
