2016 was my first ever trip to the legendary airshow at Oshkosh, known as Airventure. Oh my it did not disappoint. Cannot wait to go back. I've no idea when that will be. Complete with authentic chunks of various B-17 and B-24 noses with nose art. It's eerie to think that at one point these pieces were once part of a larger plane, being crewed mostly by teenagers and literally fighting for their lives. Not something I can even begin to comprehend. You could really sense the ghosts around some of these warbirds.
