Its taken a while to clear the bench as got a couple of tooms on it as well as a Gannet oh and a Beau Mk.1, Corsair K,II & Hellcat Mk.I which ill reveal in RFI. Anywho, onto the builds for which ill be 'taking' the Airfix and Xtrakit versions both with probelms in accuracy and build issues. Ill try to highlihgt some but im not a bean counter just want them to site and 'look' right. Xtrakits wing and fuselage needed a bit of a clean up before assembly. DSC_0249 by stuart wellard, on Flickr Fuselage halve assembled, no locating holes and some mismatch on the panel lines but not a problem. DSC_0250 by stuart wellard, on Flickr Tub painted and a very rought 1st coat of 'admiral grey which look a little light in the pics. DSC_0251 by stuart wellard, on Flickr Nose halves cemented with some fettling required as this isnt a perfect match. Intake got a 1st coat of white as well.
