Welcome to my latest build thread. I was looking for something fun and stress free to chill out with before I start back on my Sci fi “Silent Running” build. I also want to shrink the stash so this ticks a lot of boxes. Well two. I sat in on @tonyot‘s lovely Tiger moth build and decided to get the kit. ( By the way I was searching for Tony on BM, his profile states “banned”. Does any one know what that’s about? ) Any hoo My brother in law also bought me the same kit for my birthday a few weeks later so I have two red boxes of mothy goodness to deal with. From what I’ve read and seen this is a great kit to build and should fly together hence the dual build to make it a little more of a challenge. so what am I waiting for? This will be a. Airfix 1/48 TigerMoth dual build. I have decided not to use the kit schemes but instead have opted for the Extradecal pt.1 set That is as we speak shipping from the BIG yellow H. One scheme will be RAF ( I think ) camo and the other will be RAAF ( I think ) trainer yellow. I do love a spot of custard hence the name. & Please join me for what I hope will be a rather spiffing ride of care free model making x2 . Come on you know you want too. Johnny.
