  1. F-35A Hallo again Here is my F-35A. The kit is from Kitty Hawk. Scale 1/48. The etched parts are from Dreammodel. These are the finest etched parts I ever worked with. Highly recommended. All masking was hand done. Happy modelling
  2. So to go with my Asas de Portugal Alpha Jet I'm doing a Patrouille de France one too! The kit is the standard Revell one - I've got a lot of these floating around and they make a decent Alpha. The decals come from Caracal which I believe gives enough for 2 complete aircraft. But I have 3 Alpha Jets and some other decals in a Heller anniversary box I got when I was a kid in France on holiday, so I may well do 3 in the end! Most of you are probably fully aware of the Patrouille de France. They're one of the best display teams (and my joint favourite) in the world. They've flown the Alpha Jet for since 1981 now and their paint scheme hasn't changed much bar their tails which have changed over time to reflect anniversaries of the Armee de l'Air or of France. As per my other builds, I didn't take any photos of the before and after...so it's mainly pictures during painting and decals that I'll have to offer. When I do my next Alpha Jet I'll actually take construction pictures (though it normally only takes me half an hour)! So far I've painted the wings and some of the fuselage...not much else! More to come soon! Wings and some centre complete. Alongside it's colleagues.
  3. Hello, I just finished the Trumpeter 1/48 Italian Air Force Grumman Hu-16 Albatross . I like this plane so I added a lot of features like engines, sound and lights. I had a lot to rework because nothing was "italian", but just a base version with italian decals (wrong and lacking). I had to add or modify a lot of antennas and other details and add or build lacking decals. I hope you like it. 4. Finally I managed to finish a model - also finished it in under a month!!! Revell kit, out of the box. No added bits, just a straight forward build. I stumbled across a framed photo/painting - call it what you prefer, and though that would go well in my room. One day, I stumbled over this kit, and lobbed it in my room, along with the picture. And it was here, that I noticed that the painting I had bought, was in fact the boxart of the kit I had just bought! So it was a pretty easy decision, to choose what plane it should be built as. So, here goes: Revell 1/48 Spitfire Mk IXc, No. 43 Squadron RAF, Klagenfurt, Austria June 1945 Robin
  5. Ok while having a long boring nightshift I have come up with an idea for a GB which could include almost everyone! A South Latin American GB Ok after lots of requests by everyone.....well Steve anyway, I had a think about this and decided to open it up to the rest of Latin America. This GB will now cover anything and everything South American "of the border", as long as it was used there or built there it’s ok. There should be a bit of something for everybody here with all forms of transport covered, both military and civilian, even the automotive crowd with Dakar bikes/cars/trucks So countries eligible; Argentina Bolivia Brazil Chile Colombia Costa Rica Cuba Dominican Republic Ecuador El Salvador Gaudeloupe Guatemala Guyana Haiti Honduras Mexico Nicaragua Panama Paraguay Peru Puerto Rico Suriname Uruguay Venezuela Plus French Guiana Falkland Islands Martinique Saint Barthelemy Saint Martin The are some amazing and interesting subjects available which you wouldn't normally see or think about.....so what do you think?
