  1. Photo Etch detail sets for Trumpeter A-37A 1:48 Eduard The new A-37 kits from Trumpeter are a most welcome addition to their 1:48 Aircraft range. Eduard seem to be following most new releases up fairly quickly these days and the A-37A is no exception. There is the main set with a colour Self adhesive fret, and a normal brass fret. A Zoom set with just the colour fret, and a set of masks. A-37A For Trumpeter Kit 1:48 Eduard The kit's interior is pretty good, but Eduard have still managed to cook up a few extras with this pre-painted fret of parts. Included are a new multi-layered instrument panel, rudder pedals, as well as parts for the throttle and various other bits and pieces. Pre-painted harnesses for the crew seats are also included. New Canopy rails are included along with mirrors. For the airframe a new airbrake and its underlying structure are included, a new nose bay door is to be found along with linkages for the main gear doors. Various inspection panels are provided along with new exhaust parts. If the modeller does not want to use any ordnance under the pylons then pylon faces are provided. New fronts & backs are provided if you want to model them on the rocket pods. A final but noticeable part provided are the covers for the engine inlets which swing up. A-37A For Trumpeter Kit - Interior 1:48 Eduard This set contains a single fret colour self adhesive fret from the main set which are the parts for the cockpit. A-37A For Trumpeter Kit Pre-Cut Masks 1:48 Eduard In keeping with their other pre-cut mask sets, this set contains masks for all of the transparent parts, as well as the main landing gear wheels. They are a great time (and stress) saver. Conclusion The new A-37 from Trumpeter is a great and welcome kit. There are areas where the aftermarket industry can help with more refined parts than can be made in plastic and help to finish a model to a high standard. Recommended. Review samples courtesy of
