Hi All, As per the title, we have the 21st Century Toys kit of the G14, this apparently started life as a pre-finished model before being released as a kit. This would explain the construction methods which includes screws as well as the "play" items included such as retractable undercarriage, opening canopy and pilot with movable head and arms. Plus (I can feel the envy already) Movable leading edge slats! I understand that they were sold for very little money through Home Bargains? Work started on the cockpit, all the parts are supplied bagged with no sprues in sight. Praise should be given for the quality of the pilot figure - Head and arms have been attached Thanks for looking IanJ

Hi folk's, my foray into 1/32 continues and this time fit's in with a GB.Pete(in lincs) had this kit for sale so I grabbed it at a cracking price as these kits are becoming very rare these days and the Stuka one of the rarest. First thing to say it's big! next it has to be said for the scale it's lacking in the kind of detail more mainstream manufacturer's would cram in so it's going to be the paintwork that will make or break it,what needs to be done is to paint it in European theatre colours then over paint areas in sand but more on that as the build progresses. Here's the basic part's and decal's. Cockpit part's and two of the best figure's you'll get free in a kit!

Several years ago I started, and then stalled out on the 1/32 21 Century Toys Bf-109F. I asked vppelt68 if the kit in the photo would be considered as "25%" done and he gave me the green light. For those of who have not seen the 21 Century Toys models before these were release several years ago by a company that must have had the worst marketing team ever. What you see in the photo, plus decals (which I have to find, by the way) was offered at larger stores for $10-$12 US dollars. There where also offered at a much higher price in a preassembled, pre-painted version. Odd for a "normal" kit, several of the parts are SCREWED together and the hard plastic was not easy to bond. Small plugs were supplied to hide the screw heads and items like the landing gear were workable so you could display (play?) with the model gear up or gear down. . For $10 they were irresistible for modelers to gobble up despite their odd construction techniques. So, with Vppelt68's thumbs up I will try to rescue this one from the dreaded shelf of doom.
