Hello & Welcome all … I will be starting my 2nd ship in 31 years. I have chosen the 1:700 Trumpeter HMS Hood as she floated in 1931. I have a couple of good detailed builds to follow so as to make the corrections necessary for the kit to be more accurate. I will have questions so if anyone has HMS Hood info in this time period please help. Mostly some of the decks and masts. Though also where certain equipment is located on the deck. Here are the obligatory photo’s. I know the color guide isn't 100% accurate but it gives me a rough idea. I will be building this as a waterline build to match my 1:700 ORP Kujawiak from 1942. I did complete the lower hull/deck construction today as well. I did mix up color’s to get as close to Colorcoats paint chips for Hood’s colors. I know it’s not perfect but the best I can do on this side of the pond. Please feel free to ask questions, post comments, or offer any help it will be gratefully accepted. Dennis
